Adirondack High Adventure 2021

In July 2021, members of Crew 128 will spend a week canoeing and hiking in the Adirondacks. It will be absolutely amazing! We will go to the Sabattis Scout Reservation, which is situated on 2,000 acres in the central Adirondack Park, meaning it has immediate access to 6,000,000+ acres of state land!

Forms to Download

Everybody (youth and adults) needs to have the following completed:

Youth (Venturers under 18) must also have:

  • Form H-1 - Note that nearly all of this must be completed by your doctor, and the doctor must sign it and initial several parts.

  • Form C-4 - This is needed so that the camp health officer can provide medications to youth.

Please note that we want two (2) sets of these documents for each participant. One set is for the crew, the other for the camp. Electronic forms are not acceptable.

Swimmers Test

Every participant must pass the BSA Swimmer test. This requires:

Jump feetfirst into water over the head in depth. Level off and swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl; then swim 25 yards using an easy, resting backstroke. The 100 yards must be completed in one swim without stops and must include at least one sharp turn. After completing the swim, rest by floating.

See Guide to Safe Scouting, under "Safe Swim Defense," item 6. We will take the test in the lake the first day of camp.
